Haloumi & Prosciutto Bites
- Serves 6-8
- Preparation time: 15 minutes
- Cooking time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 360g Lemnos Haloumi, cut into 1cm-thick batons
- 1 tbs coarsely chopped oregano
- 10 prosciutto slices
- 1 tbs olive oil
- Lemon wedges, to serve
- Oregano sprigs, to serve
Method:
- Preheat a chargrill on high. Combine the haloumi and oregano in a large bowl; gently toss to combine.
- Use a small sharp knife to slice each prosciutto slice lengthways into 1cm-thick strips. Carefully wrap a strip of prosciutto around each haloumi baton. Lightly brush with oil.
- Cook haloumi on chargrill for 1 minute each side or until lightly charred. Transfer to a platter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and oregano sprigs.
